Set up a tunnel to a secured network

A tunnel is platform connectivity: an outbound-only channel from your network to Velo. It applies to any app client. SAP GUI on ECC should use SAP Router when you already have saprouter — that is client-specific, not a substitute for this page.

What you'll achieve

By the end of this guide, Velo's execution cluster will reach an application that sits behind a firewall or VPN with no public inbound access.

Prerequisites

  • A host on your internal network that can reach the application under test (Linux or Windows)
  • Outbound internet access from that host (HTTPS on port 443)
  • A Velo account with admin access
  • A Velo API key (create one in Settings → API Keys)
